This fine instrument performs double duty as both a globe and a timepiece. The globe rotates in real time, completing one rotation every 24 hours. The globe orb was made by made by famed German maker, Räth’s. The details are crisp and clear and the colors are bright.

The orb dates to the 1960's as verified by the emergence of newly independent countries in Africa. The globe also features a presentation plaque inscribed to a Hungarian businessman in 1969.

The artifact is in good overall condition with age appropriate wear and minimal scuffing or soiling. Please see photos for a better understanding of the condition. The instrument has not been tested. Diameter of the globe is 6 inches (marked 15 cm) with a total height of 9 inches.
