A Grand Rand McNally Art Nouveau Statement Dated 1894

This Globe is a fine and large example of superb craftsmanship. Attention to detail is evident throughout the mounting. Note the glass ball footing encased by eagle claws and splendid Art Nouveau lines with a copperized finish.The perfectly aged patina of the map provides a warm glow to the orb. The map itself highlights the fine globe making skills of the past and the legend documents Empires one can only read of in History books.

A true Masterpiece of an Era long gone. A twin of this model can be fount in the Globe museum of the National Library of Austria.
