Hammond's 6" c1931
Student globes had been mass-produced
as economical as possible to ensure affordability for
the educational system. The simplified mounting consists
of a wire stand as the orb is made of pasteboard. However,
because of the economical manufacturing of these models,
not many have survived or can be found in good condition
(such as this one).

| A Rare 1937
Mang's Terrestrial Globe
Mang had a passion for perfection, which is
evident on this globe, as it offers quite a refined
map, rich on information and color. After Adolf Mang
passed, Prof. Dr. Stricker continued the tradition of
manufacturing terrestrial globes. However, the company
became a victim of WW2. Due to the short life span of
this small company, not many globes have been produces
and even less survived to this day. A desirable piece
among globe collectors.

Silver Cram's 10.5"
c1937
Cram’s dared to produce these unusual
terrestrial globes, though for only a short period of
about 10 years. It proved difficult to manufacture these
unique spheres because of the color. Being more sensitive
to daily handling than the average globe, not many of
these superb pieces are to be found, especially in as
fine condition as the model we are offering.

This model displays the German colonies lost
in 1918 as part of the German Reich even though this

globe makers alike. This is the finest example of this
